وبحسب وسائل إعلام نرويجية، احتشد أكثر من 100 ألف مشجع في محيط القصر الملكي في أوسلو، مع تواجد ولي العهد النرويجي.
وحظي اللاعبون باستقبال حافل من الجماهير، التي عبّرت عن تقديرها للمستويات التي ظهر بها المنتخب، معتبرة أن ما تحقق في المونديال يمثل خطوة إنجازا كبيرا في مسيرة الكرة النرويجية.
